Often yes, once we have checked the existing surface is sound. Where the old render is blown or cracked we will hack it off first so the new coat has a solid base.
A sound, breathable render sheds water and can help keep a wall drier, but it is not a cure for underlying damp problems. We will tell you honestly if something else needs sorting first.
